Last book you read?
- “I recently discovered Michel Bussi, who is a French writer, mostly mysteries and suspense novels. But I cheat, I read them in English even though I could use the practice for my French, don’t tell Marie.”
What made you want to write?
“I’ve always loved a good story. I can remember my mom introducing me to James Bond when I was very young, Thunderball to be precise. I’ve always been fascinated with other worlds. I read a lot when I was growing up, mostly books my dad read when he was traveling, writers like Brad Thor, Grisham, Vince Flynn, and Ken Follett made me want to create my own stories. So eventually a few years into my career where I had met so many interesting people and was surrounded by so many fascinating stories I decided to write one. I want my stories to be authentic, and everything I write about I’ve been around or have knowledge of. I also want settings to matter, so every place in my book I write about, I’ve actually been! I hope my story makes people want to travel and be curious, that’s my dream.”
